Hercules-Wartburg Cycle Trail

An activity holiday in one of Germany’s most beautiful low mountain ranges.
Spanning 215 km, the cycle trail connects Kassel’s landmark, the impressive Hercules, with the world-famous Wartburg.

The exciting route leads to historical highlights, through the impressive river and valley landscapes of the Losse, Wehre and Werra, over the Ringgau and into the fairytale landscape of the Hoher Meißner, or “Frau Holle’s mountain”.

This is ideally combined with a connection to the Werra-Fulda Cycle Tour, which connects the most beautiful sections of the Werra Valley and Fulda Cycle Trails in a round trip of about 190 km. Romantic medieval towns, historical locations and mighty castles accompany you along the attractive round trip.
